I would argue that Usenet is not only not dead, it's making a comeback of
sorts

though a quiet one.

D'Arcy, of course it's your call whether keeping it makes business sense.
But there is a cottage industry of NNTP servers that have retail prices
lower than your wholesale cost. Here's one of the most popular examples:
