The US runs a proxy specifically for persons in Iran.Of course that outs them right in the US spying that the Iranian run Internet is trying to avoid.At the same time the US wants American companies to block Iranians in support of the US sanctions Where is HAM radio when you need it?Anyone for P2P Pirate Boxes?Sent from my Bell Samsung device over Canada's largest network.

Many moons ago, a largish company had a standard proxy configuration that somehow allowed individuals in China to reach through to sites like the New York Times.
I suspect that there are other, non-obvious, implications of quite normal networking that can help people who have limited connectivity.
