If you come across anyone who might be interested, I have a substantial
collection of industry (controlled circulation) magazines devoted to Unix
and related topics from roughly the mid-80s to the end of the century.

They might be more interesting to a "history of science" scholar, I
suppose. It seems a pity to discard organised knowledge.
